Evidence Supporting the Diethylstilbestrol Induction of Endometriosis Via Immune-Inflammatory Pathway in Rat Model

Endometriosis is a benign reproductive disorder distinguished by chronic inflammation and anomalous progress of stromal cells glands outside the uterus. Though etiology endometriosis still matter debate, immuneinflammatory mediators are thought to play major role. Macrophage infiltration proinflammatory intermediaries in peritoneal environment milieu impact ovarian, uterine function pelvic morphology, resulting symptoms signs. The model system was developed using diethylstilbestrol (DES) which examined develop disease via immune-inflammatory pathway. markers (NFKB, MAPK, TNF-α, IL-6 STAT- 3) were investigated this study. results demonstrated that DES induced animal had higher level CA-125, biomarker endometriosis.
